Palazzo Corboli

Palazzo Corboli, located on via Vittorio Veneto, is an important example of Renaissance architecture, known for its elegant rooms decorated with frescoes by local artists such as Francesco Antonio Rondelli and Antonio Romiti. Originally the residence of the Corboli family, the palace was expanded and renovated in the 16th century, during which time the interior decorations were created, reflecting the mythological and cultural themes of the period.

A distinctive feature of the palace is the stucco ceiling created by Federico Brandani in 1560, which once adorned one of the noble rooms and is now housed in the Galleria Nazionale delle Marche, within the Palazzo Ducale in Urbino. This work is an exceptional example of Renaissance decorative art.

Today, Palazzo Corboli hosts the offices of the Regional Agency for University Student Services of Urbino, but it remains a symbol of the city's history and culture. Its architecture and the artworks within offer a unique insight into the urban nobility and the artistic tradition of Urbino.
